Youth Rodeo Series ends season at fair

Torrington’s Kadra Clark won goat tying in 12.5 seconds on Tuesday night at the Torrington Youth Rodeo Series at the Pavilion. Clark was crowned champion of the ages 8-10 girls goat tying for the rodeo series.

TORRINGTON – The rodeo stars of the future took center stage Tuesday evening at the Pavilion during the Goshen County Fair as the Torrington Youth Rodeo Series wrapped up its eighth and final event of the season.

Produced by Jake and Kerin Clark, of Torrington, the TYS rodeos offered area youth ages 5-14 the opportunity to compete in various rodeo events.

Throughout the series the numbers saw as many as 70 contestants per rodeo.
