WHEATLAND – The Torrington woman who faces a third-degree arson charge in the Guernsey State Park Fire pleaded no contest before District Court Judge Keith Kautz in Wheatland on Friday, July 20.
Stephenie Schultz, 36, was advised of her rights before entering her plea. Pleading no contest indicates the defendant does not contest the facts presented by the state but does not admit guilt. Third-degree arson is a felony punishable by five years imprisonment and a $5,000 fine.
