LINGLE - Fireworks of any kind are banned within town limits for Lingle, according to Deputy Clerk Marty Coyle.
Town officials made the decision based on Goshen County Fire Warden Bill Law's decision earlier this month to enact a full fire ban for all Goshen County land. The Goshen County Commission approved the fire ban June 19, and it is effective until further notice.
As of Wednesday, 12 of 23 counties in the state have issued fire bans. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has banned fire on all lands in southeast and central Wyoming.
