DOUGLAS – Torrington’s Logan Milligan and Shai Schaefer qualified for the National High School Rodeo Finals in Rock Springs on July 15-21.
The top four individuals from the Wyoming High School Rodeo Association event standings qualify for the the National Finals.
Milligan and roping partner K.L. Spratt, of Lysite, will compete in team roping, while Schaefer will compete in goat tying.
Schaefer finished second place in goat tying with an average time of 26.0 seconds, while Milligan and Spratt placed ninth with an average of 24.03.
Also competing at the State Finals was Torrington’s Michaella Lay, Bridgit Hort, Riggen McIntosh and Ft. Laramie’s Lane Hageman.
