5 arrests made over two days

TORRINGTON – Goshen County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three males who allegedly attempted to break into the Goshen County Courthouse last Sunday.

At about 10:30 p.m., according to a report from Capt. Bryan Morehouse, deputies were alerted of three males attempting to break into the courthouse. Deputies and officers from the Torrington Police Department checked the area and saw the suspects coming out of the old Torrington School building. Lee Robert Patterson, 19, of Torrington, Russell Lee Bowlin, 19, of Lingle, and Ryan Jelinek, 18, of Torrington, were booked into the Goshen County Detention Center for criminal entry. All three men have been released on bond.
