Minor crop damage reported

TORRINGTON – A late night thunderstorm left a bit of rain and not much else in its wake.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne issued a severe thunderstorm warning late Tuesday evening. The storm was reportedly capable of producing quarter-sized hail and heavy rain. The storm also had potential to cause flooding, prompting the NWS to issue a flood advisory until early Wednesday morning.
