Barbecue brings community together

TORRINGTON – More than 180 people made their way to Jirdon Park on Thursday for the inaugural Community Welcome Barbecue.

The Platte Valley Young Professionals Network and Goshen County Chamber Ambassadors organized the event to introduce newcomers to the community, said Amy Duke, YPN coordinator.
