Platte County charges two for starting Glendo fire

GLENDO – Two individuals suspected of allegedly shooting off Roman candles that started a 6.5-acre fired at Glendo State Park have been apprehended and charged Friday with third degree arson.

According to state park officials, on Wednesday the two suspects allegedly shot roman candles from a vehicle into a prairie area near the Bennett Hill campground at Glendo State Park igniting the fire.
