THS suffers weekend sweep

TORRINGTON – The Torrington High School boys’ basketball team held an early lead in a slow-paced first quarter, but, as the pace picked up, so did the Rawlins’ offense, and the visitors took a second-half lead and didn’t look back, winning 68-53 at the Willi Gymnasium.

WHEATLAND – The Torrington Blazers traveled to Wheatland to face their rivals, the Wheatland Bulldogs Saturday.

Back-to-back-to-back 3-pointers in the opening moments of the second half by the Bulldogs sunk the Blazers 47-43.
