Second-half surge pushes EWC past McCook

Eastern Wyoming College Lady Lancer’s Courtney Peterson scored eight points Tuesday evening. All her points came in the first half.

TORRINGTON – What started out to be a slow shooting night for the Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) Lady Lancers ended with a flurry in Tuesday night’s 69-64 victory over the McCook Community College Lady Indians.

Following a McCook 3-pointer with 5:08 remaining in the half, the Lady Lancers found themselves down 31-21.
