Lady Lancers edge out road win in Colorado

STERLING, Colo. – The Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) Lady Lancers improved to 2-0, edging out a 64-60 win over the Central Community College-Columbus Lady Raiders in Sterling, Colo. last Saturday

Freshman Brittani Cross recorded a double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Jai Chandler and Megan Crenshaw also scored in double figures.

Chandler had 17 points and 7 rebounds, while Crenshaw added 13 points and six rebounds.

As a team, the Lady Lancers shot 33.8 percent from the field and were 0-for-14 from three-point range.

EWC returns to action this weekend in Sheridan for the McCoy Insurance Agency Tournament.

On Friday, they face Great Falls University at 5 p.m., and on Saturday the Lady Lancers take on host Sheridan College at 3 p.m.
