YODER – The Southeast Cyclones football team will once again make a trip to Laramie with a state football title on the line.
After defeating the defending state champion Cokeville Panthers last Friday 16-8, the Cyclones (6-3) will face the Niobrara County Tigers (10-0) in a rematch from week two.
That week, the Tigers defeated Southeast 7-6 in Lusk.
For Southeast, this is the ninth appearance in the championship game in 14 years. A win means it will be the ninth championship in school history. The last title came on a snowy November day in 2009 when the Cyclones defeated Lingle-Fort Laramie 27-20.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie.
