TORRINGTON – Galen Eugene Cadle, 68, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at his home in Torrington.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 21, at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matt Gordon officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place.

Galen was born Oct. 17, 1945 in Torrington, the son of Gerald F. and Alma B. (Miller) Cadle. He grew up and went to school in Torrington. After high school, he helped his father do cement and stucco work. Galen then worked at the sugar factory until he started work with the city of Torrington.
He retired after 22 years with the city. On Jan. 18, 1983, Galen married Marge Salazar in Wheatland. The couple resided in Torrington. After retirement, Galen worked part-time at the museum.
Galen loved watching sports, doing yard work and working on crosswords.
Survivors include his wife, Marge of Torrington; daughter Dawn and Levi Lester and their children, Tyler, Riley and Logan of Grand Junction, Colo.; granddaughter Moriah and Cory Mills and their son, Jesse of Torrington; granddaughter Melinda and Mark Beasley of Torrington; and his aunt, Lorraine Miller.
Preceding him in death were his parents, daughter Dee Dee Lampman and brother Larry Cadle.
