Delores Darlene Bath

TORRINGTON – Funeral services for Delores Darlene Bath, 77, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the First Congregational Church with Pastor Ken Beauchene officiating. The casket will be closed. Burial will be held in the Valley View Cemetery.

Delores passed away on April 28, 2013 at the Laramie Care Center in Laramie. Memorials may be directed to either the Laramie Care Center at 503 S. 18th St, Laramie, WY 82070, the Senior Friendship Center, 216 East 19th, Torrington, WY or to the Goshen Care Center Alzheimer’s Unit at 2009 Laramie Ave, Torrington, WY 82240.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home, and friends are invited to send condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com.

Delores was born on March 12, 1936 in Lingle, the daughter of William L. and Pauline (Domson) Herman. She grew up in the Lingle, Hawk Springs and Torrington areas where she received her schooling, graduating from Torrington High School in 1954 and was also confirmed at the Congregational Church of Torrington.

Delores married William L. Schwartzkopf in 1954. The couple had two daughters and then later divorced. On Aug. 19, 1968, Delores and Ivan Bath were united in marriage in Cheyenne. The couple then farmed in the Yoder and Torrington areas before retiring in 1999 and moving in to Torrington.

Delores was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She took great pride in all of her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jodene (Randy) Kimzey of Laramie and Rhonda (Eldon) Haworth of Scottsbluff, Neb.; three grandsons, Trevor (Kara) Kimzey of Pine Bluffs; Corey (Jessica) Kimzey of Laramie; and Randy (Melissa) Carter of Callahan, Fla.; two granddaughters, Brande (Josh) DeBree of Laramie and Cally (DJ) Ysac of Gering, Neb.; six great grandsons, Chris Kimzey, Tristan Lind, Braiden and Hunter DeBree, Connor Kimzey and Nickolas Carter; four great granddaughters, Baylee DeBree, Taylor Kimzey and Vanessa and Breanna Harpold; two brothers, Bill Lee Herman of Torrington and Charles ‘Chuck’ (Mary) Herman of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Herman of Torrington and Linda Herman of Cheyenne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Delores in death were her parents; her husband, Ivan Bath; an infant brother, Jacob William Herman; two brothers, Gerald and Donald Herman; and a sister-in-law, Setsuka Herman.
