Banner names hospital CEO

Banner Health Western Region President Jim Ferando recently named Vincent DiFranco as the new chief executive officer for Community Hospital in Torrington.

“We are pleased to have Vince join our Community Hospital and Banner Health team,” Ferando said. “He is a seasoned professional with many years of experience in small and mid-sized hospitals throughout the southeast United States.”

DiFranco hails from Monroeville, Ala., where he worked in several leadership roles at Quorum Health Resources (QHR), a healthcare management and consulting firm. He most recently served as CEO of Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville. He has also served as CEO for Mena Regional Health System in Arkansas, Wills Memorial Hospital in Georgia and has served as Chief Operating Officer at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
