Valley Christian serves soup for 20th year

Photo/ Travis Pearson - The Valley Christian School hosted its annual soup supper on Saturday, as hundreds of people came to bid on items, eat soup and enjoy good company to benefit the school.

TORRINGTON – The Valley Christian School in Torrington hosted its 20th annual Soup Supper last Saturday, raising more than $30,000 and serving about 675 people in a packed Rendezvous Center at the Goshen County Fairgrounds.

“It was wonderful. It was very well attended,” school Principal Cheryl Stoeger said.
