TORRINGTON – Goshen County School District (GCSD) No. 1 and law enforcement officials hosted a school safety meeting on Wednesday night to discuss current policies in place, as well as allowing the public to ask questions and stress concerns or make recommendations to those tasked with keeping local campuses safe.
GCSD No. 1 Superintendent Ray Schulte began the meeting by introducing the school’s emergency handbook, a color-coded booklet designed to cover evacuations to weather emergencies to bomb threats and everything in between.
