Quiet zones pick up steam

TORRINGTON – A quieter Torrington is coming down the tracks, and could be here by fall.

Torrington Building Official Dennis Estes said all agreements are in place and contracts are signed in order to begin work on quiet zones for seven intersections in the Torrington area.
