Platte County Prevention Council (PC2) Mission: To promote and support programs for the elimination or reduction of high-risk behaviors, through community collaboration, in Platte County. We are a non-profit coalition consisting of Platte County Professionals who want to: Increase positive academic/community engagement thereby addressing the behaviors of young people leading to substance use and inappropriate behaviors. Increase communication and bonding between parents and children. Provide high-quality programs to enhance a positive community environment for families and residents. Offer a safe environment during program collaborations. Promote and support a continuum of care for Platte County Residents. Collaboration with religious organizations while staying within the Federal Guidelines. Programs include: The Juvenile Diversion Program All Stars The HUB Youth Leadership DestiNation Imagination
