There’s a lot going on at Goshen County Economic Development Corp., and Executive Director Lisa Johnson is always willing to talk about it. Johnson went before the Torrington City Council Tuesday night to give an update on GCEDC’s activities.



Johnson said GCEDC has been working with several businesses that are considering relocating to Torrington. She has also been working with the adult daycare organization, which is looking at having a location in the new Lincoln Center, as well as with the county and school district on the Torrington Middle School gym project.



The GCEDC has also been conducting meetings in each of Goshen County’s municipalities over the past few weeks, getting input on the goals that local residents have for their communities.
