The 2009 Goshen County Fair is the place to be this week.
Wednesday opened with livestock weigh-ins, 4-H rodeo events and the annual barrel racing competition. A teen dance was held in the Rendezvous Center to conclude the day.
Thursday morning opened with the popular Ranch Breakfast, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and area businesses, followed by the fair parade on Main Street in Torrington.
4-H pet shows followed the parade, as well as the first ever 4-H exhibit auction. The Ranch Rodeo, sponsored by Covello Motors saw a good turnout in the Pavilion in the afternoon.
Dog and cattle shows were also held Thursday afternoon, as well as a farmers market.
Thursday concluded with the Muttin Bustin’ and Miniture Bull riding events.
